CONGRATS "TYLER SUMMERS WINS THE 2008 CMRC ATV PRO/AM ONTARIO PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!"

Now that the final race weekend has come and gone, we are reflecting on what has been a very challening season. This weekend’s drive to Shannonville was a long journey but well worth it in the end. We arrived at around 5:30 Friday night and found that the track was well-groomed and ready for a weekend of racing. On Saturday morning, frost had coated the ground but by practice at 9am, the sun came out and stayed out for most of the weekend. With theYamaha still in pieces, Tyler was on the HB Cycle 2008 KTM 450 XC borrowed to finish off the series.
Tyler had a great race out of the gate in Pro/Am, winning moto one and earning a close second in moto 2, leading to a second overall for the day. Sunday was another solid day with a third overall.
In the end, the season’s results exceeded our expectations. As we entered the season, we acknowledged that it was Tyler’s first season on the full-sized YFZ 450, and hoped for a top 5 finish in the Intermediate and Pro/Am classes.
Tyler managed to hold on to second place overall in the Intermediate class and we are very proud to announce that Tyler is the
2008 CMRC ATV PRO/AM Provincial Champion! An amazing accomplishment indeed!
